Job Title: Procurement Operation Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Operation Analyst to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing procurement and compliance processes, ensuring timely and accurate purchasing order issuance, confirmation, delivery, and closure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow procurement and compliance policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor vendors to ensure timely delivery of qualified goods or services, with accurate quantities.
  • Effectively manage external vendors and intercompany supply parties, coordinating with internal requestors from business units, procurement sourcing teams, logistics/warehouses, and finance teams.
  • Coordinate purchasing order-related activities, ensuring effective and efficient PO transaction management.
  • Verify purchasing requests and approved sourcing decisions, issuing and releasing purchasing orders to vendors, tracking goods/service delivery and receiving, and following up until closure.
  • Ensure purchasing order latest status matches between requirement and supply, accurately recording confirmed information into the ERP system.
  • Maintain master data from signed master contracts with vendors, including products, contract price, standard lead time, etc.
  • Manage vendor delivery, PO closure, and follow up with relative purchasing actions based on periodical ERP reports.
  • Effective vendor management and internal stakeholder/business partner communication/coordination.
  • Strong shared service mind-set to support APAC transactional purchasing that meets service level and KPI.
  • Effective communication with vendors and internal stakeholders/business partners to solve all PO-related problems.
  • Independent and timely problem-solving and escalation when necessary.
  • Well-understand and properly implement procurement and compliance policies, regulations, processes, and procedures.
  • Responsible for completing other tasks assigned by the line manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Min 3 years working experience, with a preference for purchasing background.
  • Ability to express information in a manner appropriate to different levels of people and to lead negotiations.
  • Familiar with SAP or other ERP system purchasing function, good Microsoft skills.
  • Fluent in English and Korean, both speaking and writing; Japanese is preferred.
  • Strong shared service mind-set, good communication, demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Good team work and high accountability.
  • Able to work under pressure.
