About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team at Valmet in Shanghai. This is an exciting opportunity for a quality professional to lead and develop our quality management system, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and supervise the implementation of our quality management system, ensuring it runs as defined;
  • Develop and implement quality policies, procedures, and processes to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction;
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues, improve processes, and optimize productivity;
  • Conduct internal audits and recommend corrective actions to ensure compliance with ISO standards;
  • Lead and develop quality lean projects and digital transformation initiatives to drive business growth and excellence;
  • Maintain and manage quality metrics, reporting, and analysis to inform decision-making and drive process improvements;
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to subordinates to enhance their skills and competencies;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering, quality assurance, or a related discipline;
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in quality assurance or a related field, preferably in the manufacturing industry;
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and HSE regulations, as well as pressure vessel and welding systems;
  • Familiarity with QC tools, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies;
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities;
