As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing our container assets, ensuring they are properly maintained, and optimizing their use to reduce operating costs.

Responsibilities:

* Liaise with container rental companies to acquire new contracts for buying/leasing containers.
* Work with agents to develop import plans that reduce empty repository costs.
* Manage idling container assets, including damage, sale, and off-hire, to minimize operating costs.
* Approve Export of Removal (EOR) documents, segregate units by grade, and upgrade units as needed.
* Prepare and submit MR collection/recovery reports.
* Meet departmental and organizational goals.
* Liaise with Field Logistics Officers (FLOs), depots, and leasing companies on pending MR approvals, damage reefer turnarounds, and disputes.
* Ensure each depot adheres to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for inspection, repair cycles, and other metrics.
* Conduct regular audits with depots to ensure internal KPIs and repair standards are met.

Requirements:

* Minimum 5+ years of experience in the same field.
* Any graduate preferred from the shipping industry.
* Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
* Proficiency in English.
