About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Key Account Manager to join our team at IKEA. As a key member of our Selling team, you will play a critical role in driving sustainable growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a member of the Selling team and contribute to the development of the Selling plan/output to deliver against common objectives and goals.
- Cooperate with key stakeholders across commercial and beyond to ensure integration, common focus, and maximum impact.
- Drive the acquisition of new business customers and build long-term relationships with key accounts.
- Develop relationships with major developers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders in construction to receive and shape Requests for Proposal (RFPs) for new builds and refurbishments.
- Lead the authoring of high-quality and timely responses to RFPs, collaborating with co-workers in Selling, Customer Fulfilment, and Home Furnishing & Retail Design.
- Lead negotiations to finalize terms and pricing for RFPs and other Key Account deals.
- Oversee the execution of won deals, coordinating with co-workers across the business to proactively manage the process and prevent issues.
- Manage the leads pipeline, measure success rates, follow up, and identify improvement areas.
- Lead after-sales care for key account deals, following up with help and information to secure long-term business relationships and an excellent customer experience.
