The Role:

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Leader to join our E&S Procurement Shanghai team. As a member of our team, you will drive effective sourcing and purchasing, ensure compliance to Alfa Laval Business Principles, and develop the procurement function to meet business requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive strategic sourcing and purchasing for E&S Procurement Shanghai
  2. Support E&S global procurement needs with sourcing and purchasing activities in China
  3. Ensure compliance to Alfa Laval Business Principles in E&S procurement practice and supply chain
  4. Understand business requirements and maintain and develop the procurement function and supplier portfolio to meet requirements
  5. Identify and drive total cost and procurement value creation opportunities
  6. Secure a competitive cost base throughSupplier management, frame agreements, and consolidation
  7. Seek procurement involvement in customer projects from bid phase
  8. Report KPIs supporting Safety, On-time, On-spec, On-budget

Your Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or engineering or equivalent education
  2. Procurement experience in strategic sourcing and operational purchasing
  3. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  4. Networking capabilities and cross-cultural understanding
  5. Experience working in an international/global setting
  6. Department management skills
  7. Financial, business, and technical understanding
