Client Acquisition Manager in Financial Services

Business Development Specialist, FinTech and Retail Business
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead initiatives for acquiring new application accounts and meeting departmental KPIs;
- Identify and pursue new business ventures, managing sales projects including promotional campaigns, drafting terms and conditions, and creating customer communications via various channels such as WhatsApp, SMS, and email;
- Investigate and establish new sales avenues through events like exhibitions, shopping centers, and promotional roadshows;
- Identify and secure new clients based in Hong Kong to enhance user engagement for securities applications (e.g., partnerships with WeChat, Alipay, local influencers, etc.);
- Maintain a robust network with local stakeholders, ensuring comprehensive coverage and connection across diverse channels;
- Develop presentation materials, promotional content, partnership agreements, and other necessary documentation;
- Establish KPIs, project timelines, budget allocations, resource planning, and oversee project execution, tracking outcomes and reporting on the progress of campaigns and sales channels;
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and corporate governance protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business or finance-related fields;
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in marketing or business development within the financial sector, including areas such as credit cards, loans, or insurance;
- Ability to develop and optimize online customer acquisition strategies;
- Preferred SFC registered Licensed Representative for regulated activities Type 1 and 4, though not mandatory;
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, a collaborative team player, and capable of working independently;
- Fluency in English and Chinese is required, with proficiency in Putonghua being advantageous;
- Less experienced candidates may be considered for the Assistant Vice President level.
