Position Overview

The role involves providing expert assistance and support to customers by ensuring the installation and maintenance of advanced equipment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Installation and Setup: Responsible for the deployment of equipment at client sites, which includes unloading components, inspecting for any damages, assembling, aligning, and testing the machinery. Evaluate the applicability and adherence to design specifications and suggest modifications or alternative materials when necessary.
  • Problem Diagnosis: Identify and troubleshoot issues effectively, collaborating with colleagues and field support to resolve problems.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Conduct daily maintenance and optimization of equipment to improve functionality and prevent potential issues.
  • Customer Training: Educate clients on the operation and routine upkeep of equipment. Address customer inquiries professionally and serve as a resource for troubleshooting common malfunctions. Provide guidance on corrective actions and recommend procedural changes as needed.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform various administrative tasks, including documenting work orders, field service reports, and technical reports. Offer support and mentorship to less experienced personnel when appropriate.
  • Clean Room Work: Expect to spend a significant portion of time in a clean room environment, working with both mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as required.
  • Team Communication: Proactively engage with colleagues to foster a collaborative learning environment.
  • Management Collaboration: Adapt to management directives based on the evolving needs of the business.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience is required, along with a strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, semiconductor processes, and relevant software.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols is essential.
  • Proficient in both oral and written English communication.
  • Ability to conduct offline analysis and utilize various analytical techniques and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and open-mindedness.
  • A genuine passion for learning and professional growth.
