Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Inspector to join our team in China. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading company in the offshore oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections on components, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Conduct source inspections at other facilities as required, verifying compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports, maintaining accurate records of inspection documents.
  • Review inspection records received for compliance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Maintain inspection and measuring equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Prepare and coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for nonconforming parts, resolving issues efficiently.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Requirements:

  • Comply with all departmental rules, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Maintain measurement and test equipment as required, adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using a wide variety of measurement and test equipment, including precision instruments.
  • Show knowledge in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, material specifications, and requirements.
  • Possess knowledge of precision measuring equipment, ensuring accurate measurements and calculations.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, maintaining high levels of accuracy and quality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn different software programs, enhancing technical skills.
  • Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
  • Hold a High School diploma or equivalent, with previous inspection experience preferred.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
