Key Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing technical support to existing and potential customers, striking a balance between effort and value offered.
  • Support business growth through the establishment of new applications and the enhancement of existing products, ensuring intellectual property is protected.
  • Act as a role model to our R&D colleagues.
  • Develop and maintain market segment and customer account expertise in your area of specialization.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the sales budget and achieve positive outcomes for the product line.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams in the development of business growth plans and the execution of those plans.
  • Promote Allnex's technological expertise, products, and new innovations to our customers.
  • Maintain extensive technical understanding of customer application methodologies.
  • Represent Allnex in forums and conferences within your unique area of application expertise and knowledge.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5 years and above of experience in the coating technologies/industry.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with formulation, applications, and raw materials for coatings.
  • Experience in customer support.
  • Ability to make technical presentations in conferences, product presentations, and training to customers.
  • Continuous development of technical skills and knowledge within areas of responsibility.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong results orientation.
  • Ability to multitask to balance work on lab projects and customer travel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Chemistry, other scientific disciplines, and/or equivalent technical experience may be considered.
