About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join our team at Amazon (China) Holding Company Limited. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a critical role in driving business outcomes through strategic HR initiatives and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performance Management
    • Develop and implement performance management processes to drive business results and improve employee engagement.
    • Provide expert guidance and support to managers to ensure fair and effective employee performance management.
    • Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  • Compensation Management
    • Provide advice on compensation-related queries and work with Compensation Consultants to ensure fair and competitive compensation practices.
  • Employee Relations
    • Maintain a fair and consistent approach to employee relations, including conducting investigations and disciplinaries as needed.
  • Policies and Practices
    • Review and consult on local policies and processes to ensure they are fit for purpose and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
    • Consult with managers on people-related matters that require in-depth knowledge of policies, procedures, and local legislation.
  • Talent Management
    • Coach, train, and guide managers during the annual talent management process to drive business outcomes and improve employee engagement.
    • Support managers and employees in identifying training opportunities to develop functional and managerial skills.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR position or role with knowledge in human resource management, including employee relations, change management, and team development.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent postsecondary degree required.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting employee populations in large organizations.
  • Proven ability to diagnose problems and drive appropriate solutions with self-initiative.
  • Strong listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees of all levels in the organization.
  • Fluent English communication and writing skills.
