A Day in the Life of a Key Account Manager

We are seeking a skilled Key Account Manager to join our team at Medtronic. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.

You will develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders, including distributors and healthcare professionals. Your primary goal will be to pursue leads, assess needs, and provide product services to maximize the benefits derived from our products and/or services.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders, including distributors and healthcare professionals.
  • Pursue leads, assess needs, and provide product services to maximize the benefits derived from our products and/or services.
  • Promote and establish education of our company's products and/or services.
  • Conduct market research, including customers and competitors' activities.
  • Implement market development plans/strategies and make necessary changes.
  • Communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders, including R&D, Operations, and Marketing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience and expert-level knowledge of our company's products and services.
