Customer Support Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Engineer I-PDC-C1 to join our team at Applied Materials. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our customers, ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers through Tier I, performing routine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
- Respond to customer issues and concerns, communicating effectively with other engineers and stakeholders to resolve problems.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of our equipment and processes, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and innovations.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements and quality assurance initiatives.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or technical studies.
- 1-2 years of experience in a technical support or customer service role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Basic knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and computer systems.
