We're seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our New Product Planning and Market Research team at Lilly China.

Job Summary:

The Associate Director of NPP and MR will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of new product planning and market research strategies across our business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Asset Evaluation and Strategy Design:
    • Conduct thorough assessments of global portfolio assets and incoming business development deals to inform strategic decisions.
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of market trends and competitor activity to inform business case development and long-range forecasts.
  • Launch Preparation:
    • Lead primary market research studies to gain insights into disease, competitive market understanding, physician, and patient perspectives.
    • Develop and implement launch preparation strategies to ensure a smooth transition to the brand team.
  • Brand Health and Performance Tracking:
    • Design and implement market research learning plans to address key questions for marketed brands.
    • Conduct brand tracking studies to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Partner with the brand team to integrate customer insights and understanding into the brand planning process.
  • Strategic Projects:
    • Lead and own the development of the BU strategic plan.
    • Oversee the development of therapeutic area strategy updates.
    • Own brand development for critical launch brands within the BU.
  • Stakeholder Relationship and Management:
    • Build and maintain effective relationships with key global and IBU stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including clinical project management teams and BU marketing directors.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in new product planning and market research.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
