Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Trade Compliance Manager to join our team at TE Connectivity. As a key member of our Global Trade Services organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring our compliance with import and export regulations globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead trade compliance activities in the Business Unit, developing a trade compliance team to support TE's Appliances Business Unit.
  • Establish and maintain trade operations and compliance activities in accordance with TE policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Act as the point of contact for Business Unit leadership on trade-related matters, engaging stakeholders and legal counsel to understand business changes and develop trade-related solutions/strategies and controls.
  • Partner with Trade Compliance Professionals and Stakeholders across the Enterprise to monitor and update the Business Unit on trade compliance regulatory and legislative changes.
  • Develop and administer effective trade compliance training to the Business Unit, ensuring appropriate utilization of the Global Trade Services Operations Service Center for product classification, restricted party screening, and duty savings compliance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in international business, supply chain, law, or related field.
  • 10+ years' experience in global trade compliance, with 3+ years' experience in functional leadership or senior management in a multinational environment.
  • Broad functional knowledge of import and export regulations and familiarity with customs practices in countries across the region.
  • Proven ability to work with variety of business groups, including supply chain, legal, procurement and finance.
  • Excellent organizational habits, priority management, multi-tasking, and delegation skills.
