Key Account Manager Job Description

As a Key Account Manager at TÜV Rheinland, you will be responsible for managing our key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and developing our accounts with a long-term perspective.

Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for key accounts, including hunting new business opportunities and developing new retail clients
  • Developing the account with a long-term perspective, focusing on sales growth and strategic relationships
  • Setting sales targets behind identified business opportunities and aligning them with designated account teams
  • Initiating and driving regular account reviews (quarterly and biannual) and providing regular business forecasts
  • Conducting incoming orders and sales analysis to monitor internal business trends and conducting client engagement activities to collect external business trends
  • Supporting Vendor outreach by collaborating with local sales teams
  • Customer Relationship Management and action plans for increasing total sales revenue
  • Proper escalation of problems with foreseeable impact on the business with clients
  • Cross-selling for all services within TÜV Rheinland
  • Supporting GKAM sales activities, RFQs, and related regional sales calls

Requirements:

  • Fluent in written and spoken English, able to directly meet with overseas clients
  • At least 3+ years of experience in the textile testing area
  • Responsible, able to bear hardships and stand hard work
