Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor in all HR-related matters for the business leader at the site.
  • Engage in local business discussions and decision-making, offering insights and challenging management teams as a catalyst for transformation.
  • Collaborate on local resource planning (1-2 year outlook) aligned with the strategic workforce plans of global businesses and local business objectives.
  • Provide proactive input to the HR Head for Zone China regarding the China People Strategy.
  • Drive HR initiatives related to personnel measures for key local business positions in partnership with expert teams.
  • Ensure effective two-way communication with HR Consultants and expert team communities within your area of responsibility.
  • Facilitate local workshops focused on organizational design and people-related topics.
  • Oversee the coordination of local staffing efforts.
  • Develop a diverse pipeline of local talent.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Extensive experience (over 10 years) in HR management at a sizable site with 500+ employees across various functions, possessing comprehensive knowledge of all HR topics.
  • Proven ability to communicate organizational culture to employees, monitor trends in employee behavior, and design HR programs that support company culture and desired behaviors.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities or high potential to lead an HR team (5-6 members, excluding GBS).
  • Proficient in consulting and influencing organizational leadership teams.
  • Ability to navigate within a matrix organization.
  • Strong expertise with hands-on experience in various HR domains such as Talent Development, Talent Management, Employee Relations, including labor law and strategic workforce planning.
