Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Field Service Engineer to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. This is a critical role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and technical support for our semiconductor/FAB, FIB/SEM equipment.
  • Conduct installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment in accordance with strict guidelines and industry standards.
  • Determine root causes of technical issues and implement effective solutions to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Train customers on the operation and maintenance of our equipment, ensuring their proficiency and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including documentation of repairs, parts used, and customer interactions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry advancements and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in customer service and technical support, preferably in the semiconductor/FAB industry.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor equipment, especially for FIB/SEM systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external customers.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
