Project Manager Job Description


About the Job


Sidel is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive day-to-day operations for all Sidel portfolios from business opportunity identification to contract signature/kick-off meeting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in negotiating technical solutions and managing project risks.


Key Responsibilities



  • Understand customer needs and match them with Sidel portfolio
  • Prepare project specifications, costing, installation schedules, contract revisions, and order confirmations
  • Prepare budget quotations and commercial offers in collaboration with the Sales force for negotiations
  • Ensure project technical support and quality, cost, and delivery levels in front of the customer
  • Main entry point for all technical aspects and communications with Sidel stakeholders
  • Ensure coherence and accuracy of margin between Order Intake and Kick Off/Financial Kick Off
  • Give instructions to the Design office for definition and layout
  • Ensure data collection for project launch and handover with Project Execution
  • Manage project risks and contingency plans according to contract and offer
  • Feed and update project management reporting tools (SAP documentation)
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the line manager

Requirements



  • Experience in project management of large-scale projects
  • Sales experience in a comparable industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • English language proficiency
  • Foreign language proficiency as per geographical zone (a plus)
