General Purpose of Job

Huntsman is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Director to lead the growth strategy for North Asia. This senior leadership role will be responsible for managing the sales team and coordinating resources across the region.

Prioritized Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  1. Implement Huntsman EH&S values and Business Conduct guidelines in commercial activities.
  2. Oversee the delivery of North Asia business strategies, focusing on new business development and existing business growth.
  3. Provide leadership and drive business performance progress.
  4. Address commercial issues such as supply, allocation, customer complaints, technical service, and market development.
  5. Contribute to strategy and growth projects through day-to-day activities and commercial meetings.
  6. Achieve working capital targets.
  7. Participate in the HPP APAC Leadership team as an active member.
  8. Work with other functions to optimize asset return.
  9. Collaborate with global teams to maximize HPP profitability.
  10. Develop next-level managers and talent.

    Education and Experience

    The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in the chemical industry, including 5 years in a senior commercial leadership role. A bachelor's degree in a chemical-related field is preferred. Strong analytical and decision-making skills are required.
