Job Summary

The Commercial Director, North Asia is a key leadership role responsible for driving profitable growth in the region. This position requires a strong commercial leader who can manage the sales team and coordinate multi-functional resources across different countries in North Asia.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the North Asia business strategy to deliver profitable growth.
  • Lead the sales team to achieve sales targets and improve market share.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource allocation and improve business processes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team to ensure the execution of the sales and profit growth strategy.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies and growth projects through day-to-day activities and formal structured commercial meetings.
  • Work closely with leaders from other regions and global teams to maximize HPP profitability.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to next level managers in organization and develop talents.

Requirements

The incumbent will require at least 15 years' relevant experience in the chemical industry with at least 5 years in senior commercial leadership role. A strong understanding of sales, marketing, and financial concepts and the business process is required. Excellent communication skills, tact, and diplomacy are essential to effectively interact with senior personnel internally and externally.
