Business Development Manager, Ocean Freight

Your Role
As a Business Development Manager, Ocean Freight, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing business opportunities in the ocean freight industry. Your primary goal will be to gain new customers and increase business with existing clients.
Your Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue business opportunities in the ocean freight industry.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Provide quotations and business solution support to customers.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity.
- Align with key stakeholders to ensure effective strategy implementation.
- Manage sales leads and ensure timely resolution of business issues.
- Ensure agreed DSO/overdue levels are in control and manage credit applications for clients.
- Actively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders on customer-related topics.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and CRM system data.
Your Requirements
- Minimum college degree.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in the industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Fluent business Chinese and good English knowledge (oral and written) required.
