Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Retail Business Development Lead to join our team in Retail Sales. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic account management and development of new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Planning and Forecasting: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow revenue. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform planning decisions.
  • Customer Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key retail customers, including national accounts and regional retailers. Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Coach and develop a team of sales representatives to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles. Provide guidance on product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry trends.
  • Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Use insights to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs. Use this information to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field, such as business, marketing, or sales.
  • Experience: 3-4 years of experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in the retail or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues. Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.

What We Offer:

Bayer offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
