About the Role

This is a 6-month opportunity with potential for long-term growth. As an HR Generalist/Recruiter, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional candidate and employee experience in our APAC offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gain a thorough understanding of iRobot's business and operations.
  • Provide support in career planning, performance management, coaching, compensation and benefits, employee relations, learning and development, and recognition.
  • Work with the HR Business Partners to continuously improve, update, and maintain HR tools and processes.
  • Complete exit interviews and ensure compliance with employment records.
  • Support all strategic initiatives and projects in the department.
  • Conduct and coordinate phone, video, and onsite interviews for candidates.
  • Utilize and maintain Workday, our HR system of record.
  • Communicate professionally and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of progressive HR experience in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-growth environment.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with employees at all levels.
  • Strong partnership with HR teams to drive support of overall people goals.
  • Genuine curiosity and desire to continuously learn, grow, and develop others.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working with limited supervision.
  • HRIS, timekeeping, and/or related enterprise software experience (Workday preferred).
  • HR agency coordination experience, including work permit application, social insurance, and housing fund administration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, maturity, and teamwork.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload on a daily basis.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including the ability to interpret data.
  • Fluent English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (both written and verbal) is required.
  • Ability to travel and work in different time zones.
