Overview

This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in a hybrid role that enhances the overall experience for candidates and employees within our organization. As a Human Resources Generalist and Recruiter, you will collaborate closely with the HR Director, focusing on key areas such as onboarding, performance management, employee development, and off-boarding processes. Your recruitment duties will encompass attending local hiring events, sourcing candidates for designated roles, posting job openings, conducting interviews, and preparing job offers.

Your role will emphasize building strong relationships, acting as a mediator for team members seeking support in their interactions. As a champion of our organizational culture, you will strive to align HR programs and objectives with our core values. You are driven by a passion for advocating for employees and facilitating change. By proactively communicating needs with our HR team and business units, you will work towards developing integrated solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop a comprehensive understanding of the organization Provide support in various areas, including career development, performance evaluation, coaching, compensation and benefits, employee relations, training, and recognition programs. Collaborate with HR Business Partners to enhance, update, and maintain HR tools and processes Conduct exit interviews Assist with strategic initiatives and projects within the department while ensuring consistent communication and administration of HR processes and procedures Coordinate and conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews for candidates efficiently and accurately Utilize and manage Workday, our HR information system Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all communications, both internally and externally

Additional Responsibilities:

Ensure consistent communication and administration of HR processes and procedures across all business scenarios. Support in areas such as career planning, performance management, coaching, compensation and benefits, employee relations, training, and recognition. Assist in the development of employee training programs Support departmental strategic initiatives and projects Experience in establishing an HR presence in new or remote offices is advantageous for this role Ability to work independently and collaboratively with employees at all levels across various teams. Foster strong partnerships with HR teams (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Learning, etc.) to support overall people objectives. Demonstrate genuine curiosity and a strong desire for continuous learning, growth, and development of others. Exhibit strong attention to detail to ensure compliance with employment records. Possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Hold a BA/BS degree with 3-5 years of progressive HR experience in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-growth environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of progressive HR experience in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-growth environment. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with employees at all levels across various teams. Foster strong partnerships with HR teams (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Learning, etc.) to support overall people objectives. Demonstrate genuine curiosity and a strong desire for continuous learning, growth, and development of others. Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail to ensure compliance with employment records. Solid understanding of local labor and immigration laws and practices. Experience with HRIS, timekeeping, and related enterprise software (Workday preferred). Experience coordinating HR agency functions, including work permit applications, social insurance, housing fund administration, and supplemental benefits assistance. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong sense of responsibility, maturity, and teamwork. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively. Advanced skills in MS Excel, including the ability to interpret data. Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (both written and verbal) is required. Willingness to travel and work across different time zones. Ability to travel as needed.
