Head of Startup Business Development GCR

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Startup Business Development efforts in the Greater China Region (GCR). As the Head of Startup Business Development, you will be responsible for driving the growth of Amazon Web Services (AWS) within the startup ecosystem in GCR.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to build mindshare and drive adoption of AWS services among startups in GCR.
- Identify and engage with key players across the ecosystem, including Venture Capital firms, Accelerators, Incubators, and promising startups.
- Collaborate closely with the AWS sales team to foster long-term business growth with portfolio companies.
- Work closely with AWS strategic corporate development, business development, product management, and marketing teams on strategic initiatives tied to the startup community in GCR.
- 10+ years of experience within the startup ecosystem in GCR, either as a CXO or member of the senior management team in a startup, or equivalent experience in enterprise, venture capital, Accelerator, or Incubator roles.
- General management experience across strategy, product, sales/marketing, operations, and finance.
- Knowledge of core cloud computing concepts, including compute, storage, networking, databases, analytics, and higher-order services such as serverless, IoT, and machine learning.
- Proven ability to build trust and relationships at the senior leadership level of startups, VCs, Accelerators, and Incubators in GCR.
