About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS) in China. As a Startup Nurturing Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving the awareness and adoption of AWS cloud services across the startup ecosystem in China.

Your primary focus will be on engaging with early-stage startups, identifying growth opportunities, and developing strategies to accelerate their adoption of AWS cloud services. You will work closely with our business development and field business development teams to identify, accelerate, and win business development opportunities with top startup customers and prospects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to accelerate growth of high-potential early-stage startups
  • Engage with early-stage startups to discover, grow, and keep top startups on AWS
  • Collaborate with business development and field business development teams to identify, accelerate, and win business development opportunities with top startup customers and prospects
  • Ensure all high-potential startups have full awareness of and access to AWS resources, including people, programs, credits, and more
  • Identify and engage top startups in Go-To-Market and other partnership-oriented opportunities

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
