The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is a multilateral development bank dedicated to financing infrastructure for tomorrow in Asia and beyond. The Project and Corporate Finance Clients, Global (PCF) department serves private sector clients, including corporates, infrastructure sponsors, and certain State-Owned Enterprises. PCF's mandate focuses on expanding AIIB client relationships amongst private sector clients and sponsors in the infrastructure sector at senior management and shareholder levels. Key goals include originating and executing Non-Sovereign Backed Financing (NSBF) transactions across various sectors, geographies, client types, and products.
Investment Analysts (Graduate Program) play a crucial role in assisting project team leaders in the origination and execution of debt market investments, equity market investments, and/or capital market investments. Specific responsibilities include conducting research on projects and clients, arranging field missions, preparing background documents, coordinating internal meetings, and analyzing financial statements.
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess relevant work experience in corporate/project finance gained at commercial/investment banks and/or international financial institutions. They should also demonstrate experience in structuring comprehensive solutions across financial products using debt, private equity, and funds, as well as capital market instruments. Strong financial, analytical, and modelling skills, along with effective interpersonal and organizational abilities, are essential.
