This role will be based in Beijing and report to China Tax Manager. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to assist the team in the tax compliance in China.
Job ResponsibilitiesThe main job responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to the following work:
Perform indirect tax and direct tax filings for China entities on monthly, quarterly and annual basis, including preparation and submission of tax computations and returns, tax settlement, tax registration updates when needed, tax invoice verification, reconciliation preparation, etc. Prepare/submit statistics reporting/surveys required by local tax bureaus and connect with local tax bureaus, when needed. Assist manager to review annual tax filing package where the package is prepared by external tax advisor. Coordinate with other functional teams (. Finance, Legal, HR, Business, to collect and collate the required data/information or get clarifications, as needed. Work with manager on the vital tax compliance process improvement as needed. Support manager on the ad-hoc queries and notice requests from local tax bureaus which need to be addressed from Compliance side Support manager on regional or HQ compliance reporting requirements Assist manager to provide information/support that are required from Compliance side for the projects of other teams within or outside Tax Keep tax records and supporting documents according to the documentation retention policy and guidance Maintain cordial and professional relationship with local tax bureaus Relevant Experience and Skills Minimum 2- years tax experience as a full time tax professional, or accountant with sufficient tax experiences for multinational companies Advanced knowledge in tax, accounting and finance, familiar with prevailing tax and accounting regulations, tax practices in China Familiar with accounting practice and systems A standout colleague and ability of working on multiple tasks simultaneously Strong communication skills and good interpersonal skills Strong sense of responsibility, proactive and dedicated Competences Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Tax, or related Fluent in English, written and oral Life at Oracle and Equal OpportunityAn Oracle career can span industries, roles, Countries and cultures, giving you the opportunity to flourish in new roles and innovate, while blending work life in. Relevant Experience and Skills
Minimum 2- years tax experience as a full time tax professional, or accountant with sufficient tax experiences for multinational companies Advanced knowledge in tax, accounting and finance, familiar with prevailing tax and accounting regulations, tax practices in China Familiar with accounting practice and systems A standout colleague and ability of working on multiple tasks simultaneously Strong communication skills and good interpersonal skills Strong sense of responsibility, proactive and dedicated
Competences
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Tax, or related Fluent in English, written and oral
