Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Sale Account Manager, LS – China to join our Life Science business unit. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Commercial function. This position will report to LS China Sales Director.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Responsible for sales operations in assigned territory. Focuses on personal sales targets, new business development, and troubleshooting on problem or key markets. Needs to work closely with marketing, technology, and supply chain function in China.

Taking overall responsibility of the following area:

Maintain existing accounts business and develop new business opportunities. Take responsibility for the achievement of sales goals. Build strong relationship with key strategic accounts, clients and distributors. Catch new business opportunities through customer communication. Frequently communicating with Marketing and Technology to ensure new product development, new target account development. Responsible for proposing, developing and implementing sales forecast. 

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

Education:  

Bachelor degree or above, major in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical or Polymer materials related.

Experience: 

Two years working experiences in sales function.

Significant travel to customers (over 50%) required.

Skills :

Good command of computer; Good interpersonal and communication skills; High sense of responsibility.
