Market: Mobility & Transportation

Overview: We are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth and market penetration in the silicone elastomer portfolio for our Mobility & Transportation (M&T) business. This role is instrumental in expanding our footprint in M&T applications through strategic partnerships and new business development and innovations at both direct accounts and channels.

Responsibilities:

Market Analysis and Strategy Development:

Conduct comprehensive market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape in the M&T elastomer segment. Develop and execute strategic business plans to capture market share and achieve sales growth targets.

Business Development:

Take a lead in new business development of target applications. Identify and engage potential customers and partners within the mobility & transportation industry. Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams to develop tailored silicone solutions that meet customers’ needs and market demands.

Customer Relationship Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns. Provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing technical inquiries and ensuring client satisfaction.

Market Positioning and Brand Awareness:

Enhance our company's visibility and reputation in the mobility & transportation segment through targeted marketing initiatives. Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote Dow’s innovative solutions. Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.

Required Qualifications:

Proven track record of at least 10 years in commercial role, relevant areas in chemical or automotive preferred Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills Fluent in both oral and written English and Mandarin Chinese Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel as required to meet business objectives.
