Role Summary:

This regional role is responsible for the strategic direction of the Protective packaging solutions business unit, identifying and executing on growth opportunities and managing profitability of solutions. Working closely with regional marketing and global marketing, this leader will manage the development, integration and execution of all marketing strategies and programs designed to enhance profitable growth and provide leadership to direct reports to achieve the same within their allocated areas of responsibility.

Open for talent base in SEA in particular Thailand, Malaysia.

Key Accountabilities are but not limited to:

Strategic Direction

Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Protective Packaging Solutions business unit, aligning objectives with the overall company goals to drive long-term success and market leadership Ability to quickly learn, to enable the identification of future market trends, insights and customer needs and turning this into growth strategies.


Drive profitable growth

Identify and implement growth opportunities through market analysis, innovative product development, and strategic partnerships to expand market share and increase revenue streams. Owning and driving our strategic pricing position in the market to optimize profit and growth, using advanced contextual segmentation, competitive intelligence and market insight. Maximizes the P&L – With strategic direction and support from Senior Leadership, is responsible for helping manage the overall profitability of the business through gross profit (average selling price / manufacturing cost management with Sales and Supply Chain) Manage the strength of our market sales funnel, engaging closely with our Commercial teams to path the way for success.

Operational

Partners across teams & functions to drive execution – Works closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, I&D and wider Marketing teams to understand business needs, prioritizes initiatives to optimize the portfolio and facilitate execution of strategies to improve profitability and grow the business Delivers Return on Investments – Prioritizes project queue to maximize impact on revenue and profits; launches new initiatives/products in partnership with I&D, Marketing Drive and support engagement with regional Commercial and Marketing stakeholders as well as Global counterparts and ensure strategic alignment.  Develop and maximize strategic relationships with relevant industry bodies, being our voice and ears in the industry as well as influencing and shaping industry reforms. Manages mid and long-term capacity – Makes sure we have adequate capacity where needed to achieve sales forecast by reviewing and formulating the short and long term demand forecast; champions capital expenditure approval for business; works with Supply Chain & I&D as needed to investigate/execute new manufacturing processes & platforms

Key Qualifications and Person Profile:

8+ years of directly related work experience in a similar industry Existing market expertise in the industry or a proven ability to quickly learn Demonstrated experience in driving innovation and strategic market development in both mature and emerging markets, executing a vision and exceeding revenue goals. Must have the ability to think strategically as well as execute on a regional basis. Excellent project management skills and attention to detail and the ability to manage resources both internal and external to the organization. Ability to effectively execute strategies that successfully promote Protective products and solutions to gain competitive advantage and to actively support growth strategies, new product launches, and market expansion efforts.  Demonstrated strong team leadership skills to build, inspire, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. University Degree in a related discipline
