Key Responsibilities
Be the representative of APAC to participate in Global projects, conduct the most complex of total rewards analyses and provide valuable inputs, such as merit budget, merit matrix, salary survey, salary planning etc. Support the annual insurance renewal process for Asia countries, work with the broker to study and understand the market to ensure the insured benefit offered is at the market. Lead the implement processes, including but not limited to: coordinate the contract signing, facilitate employee communications. Contribute in the annual incentive design processes Contribute to the annual incentive design processes and lead the year-end bonus and sales incentive implementation processes, including but not limited to: draft plan documents, facilitate employee communications, validate and reconcile the sales incentive result from sales team with finance, and calculate quarterly and year-end bonus payout accurately. Conduct job evaluation, including but not limited to: offer consulting to grading cases to the evolution of the business and the organization changes regionally, and be the representative of Asia region to participate in global grading committee and respond grading requests globally. Provide in depth analytical services on topics like internal and external equity cost of labor, pay trends, recommendations on salary packages, salary increase guideline, etc. Provide on-going consultancy to HR team and Managers on compensation decisions to ensure alignment with policy and business objectives Support plant Total Rewards related matters, including but not limited to job evaluation, review of bonus policies, complex data analysis reports, etc. Manage and direct external vendor and appropriately influence vendor processes and operations to achieve the best outcomes. Act as the contact point in Asia for global mobility. Coordinate in between global Mobility team and local HRR, and support international assignments, ensuring smooth transitions for expatriates and assignees. In line with global mobility policy and practice, provide guidance on relocation benefits, tax implications, and compliance with local regulations. Manage the benefits delivery for health check-ups, well-being platforms, and benefits credit platforms. Ensure these programs are effectively communicated and utilized by employees. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of these programs, making adjustments as needed Provide ad-hoc support (or lead) global/regional projects that may arise from time-to-time.Requirements
Knowledge and skills:
Compensation Expertise: In-depth knowledge of compensation design, implementation, and management, particularly for manufacturing workers. Min 8 years of experience with broad-based compensation across one region, with significant exposure in another region. Job Evaluation and Grading: Strong understanding of job evaluation methodologies and experience with maintaining grading structures. Market Analysis: Proficiency in conducting market surveys and analysis to benchmark and enhance compensation offerings. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey compensation information to employees and stakeholders. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide data-driven insights and recommendations. Benefits Expertise: In-depth knowledge of benefits design, implementation, and management, particularly for manufacturing workers. Min 6 years of experience with broad-based benefits across one region. Insurance and Health Programs: Strong understanding of insurance and health benefit programs, with the ability to manage renewal processes and vendor relationships. Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery. Vendor Management: Experience in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts to achieve optimal service and cost-efficiency. Global Projects: Experience in participating in and contributing to global projects and committees. Tech Savvy: Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with other Microsoft Office tools, with an ability to work with HR systems and databases. Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Mandarin; proficiency in Korean is a plus. Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with compensation team members, HR, and managers across regions.Education
Bachelor degree or above, major in Human Resources or related is preferredWorking Experience:
