The Role in Brief:

As [EHS Engineer], you will [ensure that QIMA SH lab’s business activities comply with local EHS laws and regulations, and create a safe and healthy business environment for SH lab. The main task report to the EHS Manager—Ben Dai].

Key Responsibilities include:

● Ensure the effective operation of QIMA's EHS management system, collect and publish EHS related laws and regulations, and formulate and improve various EHS management rules and regulations;

● Organize the development of safety operation procedures for each position, carry out hazard source and environmental factor identification and risk assessment, check the risks within the company's area, propose improvement measures, and implement corrective actions;

● Responsible for regularly entrusting qualified units to monitor environmental and occupational hazards within the company, controlling the discharge of exhaust gas, and solid waste, and taking timely measures to improve projects that exceed standards;

● Responsible for daily fire management, ensuring the effectiveness of fire equipment and systems, and regularly organizing fire drills;

● Responsible for occupational health management, arranging physical examinations for colleagues exposed to occupational hazards, allocating labor protection equipment reasonably, and informing and promoting occupational diseases;

● Responsible for the management of precursor and explosive chemicals, keeping daily entry and exit records, and handling legal purchase certificates;

● Responsible for coordinating relevant work with government departments (such as the Environmental Protection Bureau and the Emergency Management Bureau), and receiving inspections;

● Responsible for organizing and implementing EHS related training, meetings, and 5S activities.

Minimum Requirements:

In order to succeed in this role, you have:

● Major in safety management, environmental engineering, etc., with a college degree or above;

● At least 1 year of work experience in EHS management;

● Priority given to having experience in managing hazardous chemicals;

● Fluent in English speaking and reading.
