Reporting to the Regional Commercial Manager GTR North Asia, the Trade Retail Manager GTR North Asia is responsible for leading GTR North Asia Trade Retail team, including a Hainan Assistant Trade Retail Manager, Macallan Hainan Boutique Manager, Trade Retail Executive and a Brand Trainer in collaborating with Global Retail team on the execution of retail excellence, channel plan and training programs through effective delivery of key initiatives that are relevant to travel retail channels in North Asia. This role will also be responsible for finding new business opportunities while increasing the value of current Retailers and end customers . 
The Trade Retail Manager GTR North Asia will fully support account team and customer marketing team in the field execution of account plans and marketing plans. Furthermore, this role will work closely with retailers and 3rd party agencies to implement trade activation plans and deliver a high level of execution to achieve quality trade engagement and excellence at every touchpoint.

Make an Impact

- Together with Regional Commercial Manager GTR North Asia and Commercial Manager GTR China, and Account Managers, the Trade Retail Manager will lead the development of annual customer action plans, GTR North Asia channel plan and training programs that reflects the organizations global vision as a leading super premium spirits company.
- Lead the Trade Retail team, including Hainan Assistant Trade Retail Manager, Macallan Hainan Boutique Manager, Trade Retail Executive and a Brand Trainer , in trade activation execution and customer/consumer training sessions , ensuring retail excellence in all executions and sales achievements at each POS
- Support account team and customer marketing team in activation and NPD launch program through providing insight of field execution, action plans to store level and ROI process consolidation.
- Tracking on NPDs to each approved POS to ensure timely execution in market tying to the global calendar. This includes but no limited to establishing a solid database of GTR North Asia monthly tracker, collating & analysing depletion/traffic by key locations, visibility, trade feedback and competitor information to support account team’s need in presentation and reporting. 
- Aggressively looking for new visibility opportunities in key locations and to ensure high quality of Edrington brand presentation in trade – permanent, seasonal, and promotional in accordance with brand and campaign guidelines.
- Build strong relationship, intelligence and connection in field to dig out potential clients and channels for new business opportunities.
- Assist customer marketing team in development of activation/NPD launch tools for all customers, channels by providing shopper insight and feedback from trade execution to ensure the best implementation in trade. 
- Lead the planning of brand & product training programs for trade partners and work with GTR brand trainer and domestic brand trainer to develop training programs tailored by customers.
- Partner with the customer marketing, account team to plan and execute collaboration events, such as VIP events, Hainan Expo, customer trade show…etc. Mainly taking the responsibility in the project coordination and event execution.
- Implement the customer action plans to outlet level to ensure the delivery of the consensus target in account plans which aligned with account team. 
- Manage and responsible for the training program of the GTR China promoter team to ensure the highest standards of in-store execution while excelling Mystery Shopper scores ahead of set benchmark by GTR.
- Evaluate effectiveness of trade activations, training program and note key learnings for future reference.

- Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin and English is a requirement.
- Relevant experience in a retail management or trade marketing function within the consumer goods industry.

- Sound analytical skills with the ability to collect, model and interpret data.
- Collaborative by nature with excellent stakeholder management skills with internal and external
Customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
