One of the key enablers to the strategic intent of North Asia is being able to infuse foresight and business trends in decision-making, power our vision for the future, and identify risk signals in North Asia Region.

The mission of the role is to enhance and refine our grasp of consumer behaviour, preferences, and trends, thereby sharpening the decision-making and action planning across our essential business pillars. Located in market and working hand in hand with local business teams, this role will tap into deep local knowledge, understanding the nuances and heartbeat of local consumers, ensuring that our actions are synchronised with business needs and are responsive to the local market pulse. This role will bring in and represent the voice of consumer, ensuring our brand posture and initiatives are deeply rooted in consumer intelligence, and fostering an insight-driven culture that propels the brand forward.

Impact You Can Create In The Role

Support the Head of Insight, Foresight and External Partnership to build the regional insight & foresight roadmap with local depth; propose fit-for-purpose methodologies and map out resource requirements with knowledge on local nuances and feasibility.

Build close and trusted relationship with Mainland China market leaders and business counterparts to identify and frame consumer insights questions with high relevance to market and full awareness of local nuances.

Stay on top of local emerging trends and ecosystem movements, act as thinking partner to local market leaders to capture early signals of change and anticipate shifts in consumer behaviour and market dynamics.

Execute consumer insights project delivery and result sharing with internal stakeholders. Follow up and support cross-team counterparts to integrate insights into business planning and operations end-to-end.

Management of local third-party partners / vendors to ensure delivery quality and resource optimisation. For new topics, think out of the box to propose new methodology and help identify new partners / vendors to bring experiment to life.

Feed Regional and Global business partners with locally rooted and deep knowledge about Mainland China; provide sense-check and validation to various narratives related to the Market.

As a delivery arm to support Global Insight and Foresight team in the execution of global projects where the market is part of it.

Foster a culture of data and insight-driven decision making by working alongside business teams and sharing the insights in relevant ways fitted for the audience.

Proven record of high performance in top tier consulting firms or multi-national companies.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex matters effectively to various stakeholders.

Ability to work effectively with people at all levels across teams in an organisation.

Fluent in English and Mandarin.
