UNStudio is currently looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to join our Shanghai office:

Responsibilities:

Discover and develop business opportunities in Asia region Track, investigate, and analyze industry trends and market research, with emphasis on the Asian market Create goals and objectives with a business plan, following up on market opportunities and strategies in Asia Oversee and manage BD Asia team, and plan and review deliverables Produce fee proposals, response to tenders, grant applications, business plans and RFP's Manage BD requests/communication with potential and return clients Arrange region-based tours to expand network and meet with potential clients Design, generate and deliver high level Chinese and English BD reports Arrange and coordinate client visits, fee & contract negotiations in China and Asian Regions Prepare and manage client and consultant contracts Follow up on project payments and invoicing


Qualifications:  

Bachelors / Masters / MBA degree in International Business, Real Estate, Design, Communications or equivalent 10+ years proven international experience in Business Development for an international design firm in real estate, architecture, or other creative industries, with experience in the China and Asia markets Extensive and established client network in the China and Asia region Excellent command of written & oral English (fluent Mandarin skills a plus) Excellent communication and coordination skills, with a strong team player mentality Works with a high attention to detail and sense of responsibility Professional, efficient, and extremely diligent Highly developed skills in marketing and client communication Interested in growing professionally through a hands-on approach Self-disciplined and confident in a complex international environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
