Requirements

Make an impact

Reporting to the Head of Engineering (for a specific stream), you'll be part of a team dedicated to building and maintaining high-performing engineering teams. Your role will involve ensuring that team members are meeting agreed-upon commitments, are optimally resourced, and are provided with the necessary support to achieve their goals in alignment with Serko's Product & Technology Operating Tenets.

What you'll get to do

Line management of the Engineering stream, including recruitment, hiring, and pastoral care Ensuring team commitments are met in line with company goals and operating tenets Collaborating with stream leadership to resource teams optimally Conducting performance reviews and identifying training and development needs Providing coaching and support to help employees achieve career goals Partnering with PPC to align people development initiatives with broader company programs Coordinating a Community of Practice in a relevant technical area, ensuring adherence to standards and practices across Product & Engineering teams.

What you'll bring

Leading technical teams and individuals Building strong relationships and collaborating effectively with stakeholders at all levels Managing projects and programs from conception to implementation Using learning management systems (LMS) and other training tools Developing and delivering training programs Proven leadership in a technical environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong project management capabilities Certification in training and development is an advantage.
