We will count on you to:

  • Achieve a personal sales target of HR consulting / solutions business, be accountable for personal sales plan and pipeline.
  • Exhibit strong discipline on managing personal pipeline and ensuring that the pipeline remains fresh and relevant;
  • Identify opportunities and develop them from start to closure, including build up pipeline, maintain potential clients, provide proposal and follow up the contract process. May coordinate with consultants about technical parts of proposal for complicated biding cases.
  • Support to determine sales strategy and orientation, including new market development plan, growth plan of existing clients etc., maximize sales effectiveness and leverage resources;
  • Contribute to creating compelling value propositions for the market and where necessary, for a specific client, drawing on all of the internal resources and ensuring the clientsâ needs are understood and communicated back to the business;
  • Ensure that compliance in the use of Mercerâs client relationship management system to ensure accurate data for senior management to track and monitor sale performance;
  • Be proficient in Mercerâs methodology, tools and processes;
  • Represent Mercer in the market when required.

  • Strong communication skills when liaising with different category of potential clients/internal stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to the communication style dependent on the needs of the audience
  • Demonstrated experience in products/solutions selling to mid to large corporations
  • Sales performance focused and a strong sense of personal accountability
  • Negotiation and influencing skills both internally and externally
  • Ability to work across the business in partnership with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously to achieve set results

What makes you stand out?

  • Three or more years of relevant sales experience and/or industry experience required.
  • Successful business to business sales experience with HR Solution industry
  • Successful experience selling to executive/senior level employees
