Position OverviewAs Lead Engineer for Blades, you will head the engineering activities related to the design, development, and manufacturing of wind turbine blades. You will play a critical role in innovating and refining blade designs to enhance performance and durability, thereby directly contributing to the efficiency and reliability of wind energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and development of wind turbine blades, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and quality.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of blade development, from concept through production and implementation.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to optimize production processes and ensure products meet technical specifications.
- Conduct and supervise testing and validation activities to guarantee product reliability and compliance with global standards.
- Analyze performance data from blade operations and make informed decisions to drive continuous improvement in blade technology.
- Maintain abreast of industry trends and advancements in blade technology and incorporate innovative practices into product designs.
- 3-5 years of experience in wind energy manufacturing, specifically in turbine blade design and production.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing engineering teams.
- Profound technical expertise in aerodynamics, material science, and structural engineering.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong analytical mindset.
- Superior communication skills, with fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a significant advantage.
This position is based in Shanghai, China, and may require occasional travel across the East Asia region to collaborate with teams and manage projects.
CompensationThe annual salary for this position ranges from CNY 500,000 to 600,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
