Job Summary

The Academic Services role is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Training Centre, ensuring a smooth and efficient learning environment for students and tutors. This includes managing the centre's resources, coordinating teaching materials, and providing administrative support to staff and students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the centre is open and closed as scheduled, monitoring student and staff attendance.
  • Welcome visitors, provide information and orientation, and handle incoming calls and messages.
  • Organise teaching material orders, liaise with suppliers, and maintain accurate records.
  • Support students with general information, class facilities, and tutor requests.
  • Record student leave and attendance updates, sharing accurate information with staff.
  • Assist in allocating teaching slots and designing timetables.
  • Check and summarise tutor teaching slots monthly.
  • Manage the centre's library, ensuring proper book and resource management.
  • Update library information online as needed.
  • Support academic and student events as required.
