We are seeking a skilled Deep Learning Performance Software Engineer to expand our research and development in Inference. This role involves developing highly optimized deep learning kernels for inference, working with cross-collaborative teams, and occasionally traveling to conferences and customers.
As a Deep Learning Performance Software Engineer at NVIDIA, you will be responsible for performance optimization, analysis, and tuning of deep learning software. You will collaborate with researchers around the world who use NVIDIA GPUs to power breakthroughs in various areas. Your ability to work in a fast-paced customer-oriented environment is required, along with excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop highly optimized deep learning kernels for inference
- Perform performance optimization, analysis, and tuning of deep learning software
- Work with cross-collaborative teams across automotive, image understanding, and speech understanding to develop innovative solutions
- Occasionally travel to conferences and customers for technical consultation and training
Requirements:
- Masters or PhD or equivalent experience in relevant discipline (CE, CS&E, CS, AI)
- SW Agile skills helpful
- Excellent C/C++ programming and software design skills
- Python experience a plus
- Performance modelling, profiling, debug, and code optimization or architectural knowledge of CPU and GPU
- GPU programming experience (CUDA or OpenCL) desired
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
