Senior Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead our Service Sales team in the CAD Service division. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong relationships with customers, and developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Revenue Growth: Achieve planned growth for revenue and bookings in assigned accounts/territories while maintaining or exceeding margin goals.
- Sales Forecasting: Provide realistic sales forecasts to management and communicate any significant changes or developments in a proactive and timely manner.
- Team Leadership: Build, analyze, and understand team metrics and business trends to identify opportunities to improve current sales within assigned regions.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct monthly and quarterly sales performance reviews to reflect progress and market changes.
- Team Management: Lead the service sales territory representatives, inclusive of managing performance, coaching, mentoring, hiring, and career development.
- Market Analysis: Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identifying trends that affect current and future growth of regional sales and profitability.
- Information Dissemination: Disseminate information to regional service sales representatives, service marketing, and service operations.
- Account Management: Own the key account management and ensure that account plans and sales activities are consistent with overall business goals.
- Opportunity Management: Qualify potential enterprise service business opportunities early in the sales cycle and manage the pipeline to ensure that opportunities are pursued in a timely manner.
- Cross-Selling: Collaborate with key account customers to understand their business needs and strategic objectives, form relationships with decision-makers, and identify, develop, and close services business opportunities.
- Competitive Analysis: Understand the generic strengths and vulnerabilities of major competitors and develop sales strategies to respond effectively and develop competitive differentiation.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other groups within Thermo Fisher Scientific to implement strategies, identify and address cross-selling and synergistic business opportunities, and overcome obstacles.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with Thermo Fisher Scientific policies and applicable laws.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in managing the service delivery or sales team.
- Sales Experience: 5+ years of experience in selling service products is a plus.
- Industry Experience: Background in analytical instrument industry is a plus.
- Skills: Effective decision-making skills, excellent communication skills – verbal and written, good leadership skills, proficient MS-Office (at least proficient Excel, Word, PowerPoint operation), and ability to travel up to 50%.
