Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Education and Brand Ambassador for Penfolds. This is a unique opportunity to lead our education initiatives and drive business development in the Chinese market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive education strategy for Penfolds, including the creation of educational content and programs.
  • Lead a team of in-house professionals to deliver education initiatives and promote Penfolds wines in the Chinese market.
  • Identify and cultivate external relationships with key stakeholders, including industry associations, government agencies, and influencers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and consumer insights to inform brand ambassador strategies and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align brand ambassador activities with overall business objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.
  • WSET Level 3 and/or above and equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in education/marketing in the wine/spirit industry.
  • Knowledge and passion for wine, including Australian, French, US, and Chinese wines and Champagne.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to travel as needed for events, meetings, and industry engagements.
