Job Purpose:

As a Senior Counsel, Commercial Operations Specialist, China, you will provide legal support for CSL Behring's commercial activities in mainland China.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, draft, and negotiate strategic contracts for commercial operations, ensuring compliance with CSL's Legal Policy.
  • Advise clients on commercial legal issues, including anti-trust, product promotion, and education.
  • Supervise and manage litigation to protect CSL Behring's commercial interests.
  • Stay informed on relevant legal and healthcare issues to proactively inform clients.
  • Partner with EREC to ensure business processes comply with laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate legal advice on a global basis, as needed.
  • Develop and deliver training on legal matters.
  • Establish good working relationships with internal clients.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Law degree from a reputable university.
  • Admissions to Chinese Bar.
  • Deep legal experience, with some experience in supporting a pharmaceutical or medical device company.
  • Strong understanding of laws, regulations, and industry guidance.
  • Commercial acumen with a global mindset.
  • Leadership experience with ability to lead changes.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, and presentation skills.
  • Independent worker with self-motivation and results orientation.
