Position Overview

Function:

  • Support business manufacturing applications and infrastructure, acting as a consultant for operational requirements.
  • Develop innovative solutions that align with established policies to meet business demands.
  • Contribute to the BCP infrastructure team by proposing intelligent solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with Site Leaders and Zone Managers.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily systems support while maintaining service levels.
  • Serve as an expert in the upkeep of systems infrastructure and recovery strategies for environments utilizing MS Windows, MSSQL, VMware, LAN devices, and databases.
  • Advise on lifecycle management for infrastructure, manufacturing applications, and interfaces.
  • Offer insights on emerging technologies and systems infrastructure.
  • Conduct system upgrades for security and troubleshooting purposes.
  • Execute disaster recovery processes in line with existing protocols.
  • Deliver third-level support and advanced analytical solutions.
  • Estimate timeframes for problem resolution.
  • Organize or participate in project initiatives.
  • Prioritize tasks essential for project completion.
  • Adhere to IS standards, including change management protocols.
  • Stay informed about corporate IT security and privacy regulations, applying them as necessary.
  • Manage configuration and capacity of IT infrastructure.
  • Maintain infrastructure for automated monitoring or manual oversight procedures.
  • Guide outsourced partners as part of change management.

Manufacturing Support and Project Management:

  • Provide technical assistance to users and IT personnel, including troubleshooting, problem resolution, and training.
  • Deliver emergency support for business and operational units.
  • Offer critical assistance for P1/P2 incidents.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience (preferably in a manufacturing context).
  • Proficient in evaluating options and generating effective solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Dynamic and results-driven approach to problem resolution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.

Additional Information:

Willingness to travel as needed; estimated travel requirement is 20% - 30%.
