We are seeking a Strategic Account Manager for Critical Care Solutions to join our R&D Engineering team. In this role, you will work closely with our Quality and Manufacturing teams to develop the latest tools and technologies addressing significant clinical needs that impact patients' lives worldwide.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our inspiring journey and make a meaningful impact on patients' lives. As a Strategic Account Manager for Critical Care Solutions, you will be responsible for developing and executing both short- and long-term region plans to meet sales targets.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the main point of contact within the business unit for assigned territory and/or customer base, utilizing extensive understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and physiology relevant to Edwards' products.
  • Build and manage strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and other influencers, expanding the network in assigned regions to push Edwards' positioning in the market.
  • Negotiate with complex stakeholder structures at top levels and influence budgeting processes in purchase departments of customers.
  • Develop and close new business opportunities and identify areas of improvement to meet sales targets.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to less experienced colleagues, potentially within a formal mentoring program.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive sales experience, with profound medical devices industry experience.

  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate management levels.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Anticipation and understanding of customer needs, feedback, and objections.
  • Utilization of long-term relationships with senior-level customer contacts and Edwards colleagues across functions to achieve success.
Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
