Main Responsibilities:
The Senior Business Development Executive will lead complex sales engagements, primarily partner-driven, in the GB segment. This role will work in conjunction with (I)PBMs and ISEs, focusing on opportunities in partner/SAP accounts above a specific revenue threshold. The objective is to coach partner sales teams on building a productive pipeline and maximizing revenue through active engagement on selected opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Aligns with PBMs on Partner Business Planning for the territory covered, identifying opportunities for growth and collaborating with other GPO sales areas.
- Responsible for creating, monitoring, and reviewing business development activities around solution or industry specialization areas, defining innovative approaches to generate business, and executing directly or via partner sales teams.
- Coaches partner sales reps to interact with prospects in large or complex SW deals, positioning the value of the respective SW or industry solution through ROI, business case development, references, and support analyst data.
- Drives deal closure by inserting themselves in big and complex opportunities of assigned partners, balancing direct and indirect activities to maximize revenue in the assigned territory.
- Enables partners to independently drive business with resources such as partner demand generation plans, competency plans, resource utilization plans, presales coaching plans, and more.
- Monitors the effective use of SAP assets by partners and reports on sales progress throughout the year, identifying deviations from plans and engaging in measures to deliver agreed-upon goals.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience selling business software and/or IT solutions.
- Experience selling to CXOs.
- Proven track record in target achievement.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in related fields (Business/Engineering or Technology).
