Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership for the Mathematics Department, aligning with educational goals and standards
  • Oversee mathematics curriculum development, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Lead, manage, and mentor staff, focusing on professional development and a collaborative environment
  • Manage the budget and laboratory resources efficiently, ensuring effective use of resources
  • Monitor student progress, implementing strategies for success and academic achievement
  • Engage with the community to promote mathematics education and build partnerships
  • Support research and innovative teaching practices, staying informed on educational trends and developments
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and contribute to accreditation and quality assurance
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree or higher in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field
  • Valid teaching certification/license
  • Experience in teaching mathematics, with a proven track record of excellence
  • Prior leadership or management experience in an educational setting is highly desirable
