Ruminant Business Development Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Ruminant Business Manager to drive and manage the sales of products and services within Evonik's Specialty Nutrition (SN) portfolio for the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities
- Support business development of the SN product line by applying the regional sales strategy and identifying distribution channels.
- Develop and manage customer and distributor relationships, scheduling meetings and visits to establish the value of Evonik's solution.
- Promote and drive the sales of specialty nutrition products and services, implementing strategic positioning within the region.
- Support price and volume sales targets by identifying customer needs and applying commercial and technical value-added tools.
- Research, manage, and coordinate technical and sales initiatives to support the team strategy.
- Pricing – Study and understand the functional feed additives markets, proposing prices in line with the market and Evonik's profit targets.
- Account Planning – Develop and implement plans for focus customers, including coordination of Technical Services as needed.
- Account Receivable – Be responsible for customer settlement and achieving AR targets.
- Budgeting and Forecasting – Accurately budget, forecast, and update account activities to ensure products and resources are available to achieve sales targets.
- Project Support – Participate in and lead project teams to support the advancement of the business line's value selling initiatives.
Requirements
- Master's degree or above in Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, Animal Medicine, or related field. PhD preferred.
- At least 5 years' working experience in animal feed and additive industry, especially in ruminant field.
- Strong knowledge of ruminant nutrition formulation, able to provide technical solutions for customers.
- Brilliant business strategy to achieve continuously good business results in the short/long-run. Experience in supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes.
