Position Overview
As a Program Manager for a prestigious International Luxury Brand, your key responsibility will be to oversee various workstreams for regional IT Projects, including Clienteling, Salesforce, and system integrations, leading the charge in implementing digital transformation for localized solutions. This position demands exceptional communication skills and the capability to coordinate effectively between global and local teams and vendors, adeptly managing complex scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery:
- Supervise the planning, execution, and delivery of critical projects related to Clienteling, Salesforce CRM, and system integrations.
- Ensure alignment with both global and local team strategies, managing projects from inception to completion, including resource allocation, timeline management, and budget oversight.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project plans and KPIs, ensuring milestones and deliverables are achieved on schedule and within scope.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and initiatives pertinent to the project.
Team & Vendor Management:
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, both locally and globally, to guarantee seamless collaboration and communication.
- Engage with external vendors and partners, negotiate contracts, and ensure deliverables meet the organization's high standards.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams, nurturing a collaborative and high-performance atmosphere.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the primary contact for all project-related communications, ensuring all internal and external stakeholders are consistently informed about progress, risks, and issues.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and status reports for senior management, delivering clear and concise updates on project status and outcomes.
- Manage change requests and ensure alignment with business objectives and priorities.
Risk Management:
- Proactively identify potential project risks and formulate mitigation strategies to secure successful project outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, regulations, and quality standards throughout all project phases.
Digital Roadmap Compliance & Development:
- Collaborate on developing both short-term and long-term Digital Transformation roadmaps with Regional IT leaders, while also conducting internal and external risk management throughout the project's duration.
- Adhere to all procedures of the company's IT project and release management policy by working closely with the Global IT PMO.
Process Improvement & Governance:
- Mentor project team members through both written and verbal feedback.
- Establish and enforce project management standards, methodologies, and best practices across all projects.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancement, implementing changes to improve project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
- Handle additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Possession of a PMP (PMI) certification or any other relevant certification.
- A proven track record with 6-8 years of experience in IT Project Management, overseeing large-scale, complex projects across multiple regions, coordinating with global teams and vendors.
- High-level stakeholder management skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders from local to global.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English, with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively across all levels.
- Proficient in managing and resolving complex situations in dynamic environments.
- Strong presentation skills, preferably in Technical Solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work in a multi-cultural, global IT organization.
Desirable:
- Experience in Business Analysis and Business Process Modeling.
- Familiarity with the digital transformation landscape and ecosystem in China (WeChat/Wecom).
- Experience with Cloud Platforms (e.g., Ali Cloud, Azure).
- Experience with major platform migration or transformation projects.
- A willingness to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and build strong relationships with all stakeholders.
This position offers a contract duration of 5 months, with a high potential for conversion to a full-time role based on project needs and performance.
